Coach Bobby Laudig joined the Raiders Boys Lacrosse program last year and led the team to a winning seaons and teh state Divesion II semifinals. He played college lacrosse at the Universty of Oregon. His stated philosophy of coaching is as follows:
"Coaching is the transference of knowledge in order to strengthen talent. My approach is simple; analyze the student athlete’s strengths on the field and on the sidelines, utilize your conclusions to strengthen his talent, utilize talent to strengthen a team. My coaching attitude has a strong sense of confidence, patience, positive affirmation, and a genuine intrigue to educate. I promote respect for the game, for your opponent, for your team, and for yourself. I have a genuine concern for the lack of respect and I give every young man the benefit of the doubt. A boy who has a genuine interest in the sport of lacrosse, has the fortitude to prove that interest with sacrifice, and who learns from his mistakes WILL strengthen his talent. "

Eric Weitz serves as assistant coach, with an offensive orientation to complement Bobby's defense orientation. He has coached High School lacrosse camps and middle school clubs, and helped coach at his alma mater (UW) in pre-season training alongside Dejon Hush, who now coaches the Bainbridge Island varsity team. His coaching philosophy is as follows:
"...to teach the players about lacrosse through hard work and positive reinforcement. The harder you work in practice, the more fun you will have in games... . It seems natural, or at least common sense, that a coach of any sport would also help develop a sense of responsibility, self-discipline, high self-expectations and positive thinking that would apply to other aspects of life, such as academic and social."
